I have books 1-4, and didn't know which these were in the series before looking them up on Amazon.com, but hey, they're only a dollar each! =P
And I must note that no, I do not entirely agree with the author(s?), from what I've heard of their writings.
Why am I reading the books? I don't guess I can offer a specific explanation.
I don't agree with Harry Potter either, but I've read part of those.
